Project Summary

QVC throws their Red Carpet Style party at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel every year leading up to the Oscars. Many stars associated with the channel hit the red carpet to celebrate their designs.
At Mohawk Digital, we created a social media experience using touch screen Dells as Kiosks and QVC ambassadors floating around the event with tablets. Attendees could hashtag #QVCRedCarpet on Twitter and Instagram and see their posts immediately show up on our large Social Media Wall at the event, a 6×8-foot display comprised of six HD TVs. Also, there were professional photographers snapping pictures of everyone at the party. If your photo was taken, they would hand you a card with a corresponding letter for you to find it at any of the kiosks. You could then add a filter to the photo, share it via email, Twitter and Facebook, and then “push it to the wall”, where your new filtered photo would show up on the giant screen.
